Financial management is one of the main responsibilities faced by those involved with community groups, whether on a voluntary or paid basis. In today’s environment community groups must maintain good financial records for management of the group, to meet legal responsibilities and to provide accountability to members and funding bodies. 4N Business Training has developed unique courses in bookkeeping and financial management to help address this area.
Our courses provide both new and experienced committee members and staff with the building blocks for successful bookkeeping using either manual or computer systems. You will learn new skills and build on your current skills to provide solutions for maintaining and understanding your “books” and demystifying “accounting jargon”.

The standard courses developed by 4N Business Training were designed specifically for small business and community organisations.The courses can be further tailored to meet any additional needs of community groups.
Customised courses can include specific topics relating to financial control such as funding arrangements, authorisation of expenditure and constitutions.
Short, practical workshops at affordable rates:
Our practical, short courses are developed for small groups with a maximum of 8 people to provide individual attention and quality learning in a friendly environment. They are presented by qualified trainers using an interactive workshop approach with opportunities provided throughout to practice skills and reinforce concepts learnt. Participants will learn new skills and how to apply them to their individual workplace whether using manual or computer records.
All participants receive a comprehensive manual and follow-up telephone support .
Standard courses are held at various locations on a regular basis throughout the metropolitan area. Customised courses will be scheduled upon request. One-on-one assistance is also available.
